Education:
In 1993, Dr. Schulz received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington. He attended the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School of Dallas, where he completed his Medical Degree in 1997. From 1997-1998, Dr. Schulz finished an Internal Medicine Internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He fulfilled a Radiology Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia from 1998-2002 and a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship from 2002-2003 at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Schulz served as Chief Radiology Resident at Emory University in 2001. In 2003, he served as a radiology lecturer for the American Academy of Family Practice in Seattle, Washington.
Experience:
Dr. Schulz is the author of “The Posterior Labral Tear, an Important Injury to Recognize in Football Players”, which he presented at the Society of Skeletal Radiology in San Diego, California in 2003.
Prior to joining Desert Radiologists in January of 2004, Dr. Schulz served as a part-time attending radiologist in the emergency center at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
