Education:

Dr. Ahmad graduated from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science, Biology in 1997. In 2001, he received his Medical Degree from St. George's University in
Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Ahmad continued his medical career at The University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey, Cooper Hospital completing his Internal Medicine internship in 2002. In 2006, Dr. Ahmad finished his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Michigan State University in Flint, Michigan. He also served as Chief Resident at Michigan State University from 2005-2006. Following his residency in 2007, he completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In 2008, Dr. Ahmad attended a visiting fellowship in Mammography at Tuft's University in Boston as well as a one week visiting fellowship in Bone Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2009.

Experience:

Dr. Ahmad joined Desert Radiologists in 2009 as a tele-radiologist. Dr. Ahmad has co-authored several publications and has presented at The 2007 American Society of Neuroradiology.
